2.0 Program start

Before taking up the details of our program, please permit us a few words about Rasche`s Schafkopf 3.0. In this version, you are taken away to our Skat island. Once there, it is your goal to accumulate as much money as possible by playing Skat. You will face up to twenty opponents in eight different playing areas. They all have one thing in common: They want to take your money! But, let us put first things first.

When you first start our program, you will see a window with the following story displayed here in a shortened version:

After this, you will be taken automatically to a reception area:

This room serves as your entry point to all of the playing areas. You return here to move from playing area to playing area, and also, if you've been successful enough, to obtain your return ticket home. In the event that you feel unsure of your skills, try out our "Practice" room. It costs nothing to play here, but there's also nothing to win.

Before you are permitted to enter a room, the following general window will appear:

In this window, you set the stakes for play. In the top section, you also see your current capital. Normally, you will want to set a specific end point for your play (36 hands, for example). If you don't set this, you simply play for points and there is no specific profit goal.

Your possible winnings cal be increased through a number of options that you set in the lower left portion of the window. Card Sets A and B are only available when you purchase them from us as a separate option. Once you have entered all of the settings, simply click on "Enter" to enter the playing area, meet your opponents, and begin play. From the playing area, you can return to the reception area at any time by selecting it in the Game menu.

This is enough to say about the story for now. Have a look around for yourself and enjoy all of the options available to you.

Play without Story

If you simply want to play a few hands without the story option, then the story can be turned off in the View selection under the Settings menu. In this case, only one playing venue is available and you enter the playing area directly.
